Sound It Out, 2022

Sound It Out, 2022

In addition to my clinical practice, I collaborate with media outlets to share psychological insights with a wider audience. My work includes podcasts, ad campaigns, digital courses, and film features, where I bring a trauma-informed lens to elevate the conversations on mental health, interpersonal violence, relationships, and racial trauma. It matters to name what is too often left unspoken.  We can’t begin to address what we won’t acknowledge. I aim to make complex psychological ideas accessible, helping audiences better understand the impact of trauma and the pathways toward healing.

As an experienced media contributor, I bring psychological depth to the screen—giving voice to the realities of mental health and healing. My work includes highlighting the experiences of Black female entrepreneurs in She Did That and collaborating on national campaigns with Sound It Out to open conversations about family dynamics and emotional wellbeing. I also created a digital course on healing from anxiety and panic for Alkeme, a Black mental health app. In addition, I offer psychological consulting for film and television, helping creative teams explore emotional and relational themes with authenticity and care.
